Jimin Of BTS Becomes The First Solo South Korean Artist To Top The US Songs Top 100 billboard chart.
Jimin, a member from the K-pop supergroup has impacted the world forever as he made history by being the only South Korean solo artist to ever land the main spot on the top US song chart, billboard declared on Monday.
This week, Miley Cyrus’ Flowers fell out of first place on Billboard’s Hot 100, where it had dominated for eight weeks, as the single “Like Crazy” debuted at number one.
As per the industry tracker, the track from Jimin’s first solo Face is the 66th track to arrive at the highest point of the Hot 100 chart, which consolidates all-genre US streaming, radio play, and sales data
According to industry sources, Face debuted at number two on Billboard’s main albums chart, surpassing fellow BTS member RM’s Indigo, which debuted at number three in December. This made Face the highest-charting album by a South Korean solo singer.
BTS is regarded as South Korea’s greatest cultural phenomenon to date. The group sold out stadiums all over the world, dominated the charts, generated billions of dollars for the country’s economy, and established an ARMY of worldwide fans(literally).
